About

Co-ordinated by Emma Loane, Sales and Marketing Manager of Malmaison and Anna Christopherson, owner of the award-winning Boda Bar Group, Yule Fest Leith is an independent event designed to showcase the very best of Leith’s diverse drinking holes this festive season.

Cosy up with a mulled wine or a warming cocktail for maximum hygge vibes in Edinburgh’s coolest neighbourhood. Running from 5th November to 5th January*, Yule Fest will help you beat the winter blues in EH6.

The partner bars are working collaboratively to create an exciting two-month programme for festival-goers to look forward to this winter, each with their very own unique Leith flavour. From exclusive events and mixology masterclasses to live music, DJs and talks, Yule Fest-goers are set for a neat winter with a twist.

Festival passes (valid for the duration) cost just £5 and on showing it to the bartender you will be entitled to our partner bar’s signature cocktail for just £5, plus discounts on festive dishes from participating bars.

Proceeds from the wristbands will go to two Leith-based charities, Hidden Door an independent arts festival run entirely by volunteers, and Leithers Don’t Litter who are committed to cleaning up their neighbourhood to make Leith the loveliest part of Edinburgh.

* Please note, wristbands are not valid on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Please check individual participating bars for festive opening hours.

Sponsored by Oro Gin

Yule Fest is sponsored by Oro Gin, a smooth and sophisticated gin distilled in Dumfries & Galloway. This award-winning gin uses science to create the perfect blend of flavours and finishes, making Oro ideal to drink on its own, with tonic or in a cocktail.

Created by head distiller Ray and his team at the Distillery at Dalton, Oro Gin is packed with robust notes of juniper smoothly moving to a zingy citrus mid body, finishing nicely dry, with a note of spiced vanilla.

Keep an eye out for Oro Gin behind the bars of some of our favourite watering holes in Leith as you make your way around the Yule Fest trail.

Sponsored by Central Taxis

Yule Fest is also sponsored by Central Taxis, Edinburgh’s favourite taxi fleet. They’ll get you home safely on chilly winter nights after enjoying cocktails in Leith. They’ve been Edinburgh’s most reliable taxi company for over 50 years, with over 1,100 drivers across the city.

Booking a taxi with Central Taxis couldn’t be easier - just download the app, book online or call 0131 229 2468.
